Oh my! I absolutely loved visiting Aurora University! The campus is beautiful, clean, and has such a welcoming atmosphere. Oh my, every part of the campus felt well cared for, and it was easy to see the pride that students and staff have in the university. The buildings are impressive, the grounds are gorgeous, and it's the perfect place to take a walk and explore. Everyone I met was incredibly friendly and helpful, which made the visit even more enjoyable. I also loved how peaceful the campus felt while still having plenty of energy and school spirit. Oh my, if you're thinking about attending or just stopping by for a visit, I highly recommend checking out Aurora University. It left a fantastic impression on me, and I'd love to visit again! Greg out!

I would reconsider this Nursing program at this university. I attended this school’s nursing program and was dismissed from failing one of the last classes. I reapplied for readmission into the nursing program but was denied, please go elsewhere for nursing education.

*BEWARE VETERANS* *Would not recommend for Veterans* I had a very disappointing experience with Aurora University’s admissions process. My application was evaluated almost entirely on a cumulative GPA, with little to no consideration of the circumstances behind it or the extensive professional experience I’ve built since. That GPA reflects a period following two years of overseas military deployments and the long term impact of being a disabled veteran. Since then, I’ve worked in the career field that directly aligns with the field this program claims to prepare students for. What stood out most is that none of this seemed to carry meaningful weight. It felt as though it didn’t matter how many lives you’ve impacted, how you’ve served your country, or how involved you are in your community only a single academic metric was considered. I was advised to enroll as a non degree seeking student without access to financial aid to “prove readiness,” which comes across more as a pay to validate approach than a fair evaluation of qualifications. Aurora University’s admissions criteria appear overly rigid and disconnected from real world experience. Based on this experience, I would not re

This is a terrible university do not go here. They will act like they care about your future they do not at all. If you don’t have a full ride scholarship package , do not come here. Do not accept the student loan package , you will pay 3 times interest on it when you graduate. Every year the tuition goes up by 400$ a semester. We went from 14400 to 14800 to 15200. They don’t care about you’re professional development and will lie thru there teeth about career development. Unless you have a job in you’re field and you’re being sponsored by you’re employer, it’s all on you to find a job and they will take credit for it without you’re permission. They will not accommodate your work schedule at all, so you are forced to take classes at days and times that don’t work. They recently were in the news for being racist towards a student athlete. If you’re an accountant student, do not come here, go to UIC , some other well known accounting program, you will struggle to land an unpaid internship even because employers do not take them seriously. Definitely don’t come here as a healthcare admin or business major unless you are already in the field, half the students who graduate from here do
